Somerset, NJ — R&J Strategic Communications, a full-service integrated digital marketing and public relations agency specializing in commercial real estate, healthcare, human services and non-profit communications, announced that account director Dan Johnson was named to Somerset County Business Partnership’s (SCBP) 2024 Top 40 Under 40 at the SCBP Awards held on December 9th at The Palace at Somerset Park.
The SCBP’s Top 40 Under 40 recognizes professionals, philanthropists, entrepreneurs and community leaders under 40 in Somerset County who demonstrated excellence in their jobs, families and communities over the past year.
As a member of R&J Strategic Communications’ Senior Management Committee, Johnson assists in setting the agency’s strategic direction. In his role as account director, he leads the agency’s commercial real estate practice serving as a trusted counselor to some of the region’s most prominent executives and businesses. His leadership and strategic thinking allow R&J Strategic Communications’ clients to embrace a mix of owned, earned, shared and paid communications tactics to capitalize on opportunities in a competitive and evolving market.

Beyond his work at R&J, Johnson also serves as the District Council Co-Chair for the Urban Land Institute of Northern New Jersey (ULI NNJ) and is the PR/Social Media Co-Chair for the ULI NNJ District Council Advisory Board. In addition, he is closely involved with ULI NNJ’s Urban Plan program which provides students at East Brunswick High School and East Orange Campus High School the opportunity to learn about the fundamental aspects of real estate development through an engaging curriculum. Johnson was also recognized by the NJ Ad Club as one of Jersey’s Best Marketing and Communications Professionals under 40 in 2019.
