Size: 9,300 SF Steven Kratchman Architect provided its architectural expertise for the façade restoration of the Harmonie Club - a landmark building in NYC’s Upper East Side Historic District - working closely with the institution’s Preservation Foundation. Founded in 1852, Harmonie is the second oldest social club in NY. Extensive work on the classic Beaux Arts façade included replacing damaged terra cotta units, repairing the limestone base and copper standing seam panels, and restoring decorative metal guardrails, among other significant repairs.
