LANCASTER, PA — Barley Snyder attorney and former York County president judge the Hon. Stephen Linebaugh is taking the experience he acquired from behind the bench and applying it to Barley Snyder’s newest service team. The firm has named Judge Linebaugh the chair of its Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) service team, which will help businesses keep their disputes from reaching a courtroom. ADR includes non-courtroom solutions such as mediation and arbitration. The National Judicial College has certified Judge Linebaugh twice in 2008 and 2017 as a trained mediator and arbitrator. He said his certifications and ADR experiences both on the bench and in private practice have helped him form a strong base to work for businesses that hope to avoid protracted courtroom disputes. The new group is comprised of more than a dozen attorneys.
