SALISBURY, MD — Tonney Insley, advisor with SVN | Miller Commercial Real Estate aides in Salisbury’s next big change for downtown. Tonney recently settled on 144 E. Main St. and 119 E. Market St. representing the seller. The properties were owned by the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce (SACC) and used as their main office and parking lot. The SACC properties will expand the latest downtown development project, “The Ross”, a venture being overseen by developer Nick Simpson, who was represented by Tim Dennis of Keller Williams.
The Ross is projected to be the tallest building in Salisbury with 12 stories and apartments. It is comprised of 132 E Main St., 130 E. Main St. and now the SACC properties. Tonney worked with the SACC over the past year to create a transparent sales process that allowed buyers to submit offers for the properties and for the SACC to accept that which made the most sense for their needs.
