Robin Kelsh, Pennsylvania Land Title Association

Women in Business: “Find your own path and don’t ever give up.”

What is your current position?

I am the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Land Title Association and the Pennsylvania Land Title Institute, which is the educational arm of PLTA. Why did you choose the field/profession you are in today?

Over the years I worked in several different fields (concert, theatre, TV & film production; marketing, technology, web design, commercial construction and events planning). I started in the association management field doing events for non-profits and trade associations. Also, while working in the tech sector I started planning the events that used my production skills. Over the last 25 years I’ve also been involved in the fire service, as a firefighter and also serving in some operational capacities which gave me a great deal of knowledge about the non-profit world. In reality, I didn’t really choose my profession; it chose me. I believe all of my experiences helped me grow in association management and let me to attain my current position as Executive Director the Pennsylvania Land Title Association.
