NEW YORK, NY — RAL Development Services (RAL) announced grocery store ALDI has signed a long-term, 25,427 s/f retail lease at 1300 Fairmount Ave. The 14-story, 624,575 s/f mixed-use property, currently under development by RAL, is located at the intersection of Fairmount Ave., Ridge Ave. and North Broad St. The announcement was made by Spencer Levine, managing director of RAL. “We’re pleased ALDI chose our location along the developing North Broad Corridor,” said Levine. “In a city where many people rely on walking or public transportation, a new supermarket in the area will be extremely valuable not only for the building’s residents but also for the surrounding community who have worked closely with our team to make this project a reality. ALDI will provide fresh, high-quality affordable groceries to the neighborhood.”
