CHATHAM, NJ — Nick Stefans, The Garibaldi Group’s associate vice president, successfully closed four deals in just three months, totaling 13,065 s/f of space. Of these transactions, 6,615 s/f of office space was leased in the firm’s hometown of Chatham. At 1 Main St. in Chatham, Stefans helped Metrix Lab secure 4,015 s/f in the Schenknan & Kushner building in July. Metrix Lab, a global market research company, was represented by Jon Williams, managing director of Cushman & Wakefield. Less than a mile down the St., Stefans found a second tenant for 383 Main St. in June, leasing 2,600 s/f to the law firm Irwin & Heinze, P.A. The team plans to relocate their offices from West Orange to the Chatham-based Serruto Properties building. “With a noticeable push coming toward the suburbs in the form of relocations and satellite offices, it’s more important to represent these smaller spaces now more than ever,” the firm’s president, Jeff Garibaldi, said. “Nick has kept his finger on the pulse in Chatham while surveying the growing markets like Jersey City and Newark. We expect him to take this momentum into 2019.”
