PITTSBURGH, PA — Cushman & Wakefield Grant Street Associates, Inc. (Grant Street Associates) announced that Bombardier Transportation has executed a long-term lease to relocate several of its business divisions from West Mifflin to Pittsburgh’s Strip District. Randy McCombs and Sam McGill of Grant Street Associates represented Bombardier in the lease acquisition. Bombardier will occupy 90,000 s/f at One Waterfront Place, a 200,000 s/f, class A office building located in Pittsburgh’s Greater Downtown submarket. One Waterfront Place was constructed 16 years ago for original tenant, Seagate Technologies. Though Seagate has long-since vacated the building, McCombs remarked that Bombardier’s decision to move to the building is fitting, given that both companies chose the location for its vibrancy and access to the region’s top talent.
