TOWSON, MD — Marcus & Millichap announced the sale of a newly opened Wawa in Towson. The asset sold for $7.48 million which represents one of the highest priced Wawa transactions executed in the Mid-Atlantic Region to date.Dean Zang, senior managing director of investments in Marcus & Millichap’s Washington, D.C. office, had the listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a related entity to Buccini Pollin Group. The Wawa is located along East Joppa Rd. in Towson at the site of the former Northrop Grumman facility as part of the new Loch Raven Commons mixed-use development. The overall project is nine acres and includes the Wawa outparcel, 209 apartments, and additional retail shop space which is also being developed by Buccini Pollin Group.
