JERSEY CITY, NJ — Mayor Steven M. Fulop joined representatives of Namdar Group on May 3rd to break ground on a new 15-story tower at 87 Newkirk St. in Jersey City’s Journal Square neighborhood. Owned and developed by Namdar, the building will comprise 132 residential units, 25,000 s/f of shared office space, and 1,500 s/f of retail space. The project represents the first Jersey City development for the Namdar Group, a privately held real estate investment firm based out of Great Neck, New York.
