The Aztec Corporation empowers momentum solar in their vision for the future

Momentum Solar, one of the fastest growing renewable energy installers in New Jersey has relocated its headquarters to 325 High Street in Metuchen. Rebranded; this sleek, mixed use office is not bound by walls, but rather defined by space. Modern lines and inspiring super graphics break traditional boundaries and exemplify the company’s business model for exponential growth. The synergy between Aztec Architects and Unity Construction resulted in bringing new life to an abandoned space through a complete gut and transformation. An asymmetric design infused with decorative lighting element by ILA anchor scale and proportion. Dynamic compositions lead up to splashes of color while simultaneously directing circulation through wayfinding. Through the main entrance, guests are greeted with a collaborative reception/lounge made up of a carefully planned arrangement of high end custom millwork beautifully implemented by Atlas Woodworking. The playful bullpen of AIS systems furniture supplied by Allstate Office Interiors, house the full time staff in low panel workstations while the hot desk area handles hoteling and temporary overflow.

The open area boasts an exposed deck with colorful sound baffles and an implied ceiling that tease the exaggerated window line. Glass offices populate the more formal side of the floor plate leading up to the boardroom, training area, and call center before heading through to the drive-in warehouse. And, when employees need to shake off the intensity of their own momentum, other important on-site amenities include; a basketball court, putting green, and a company fitness center.
