Spring House, PA — Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF) is pleased to announce that Justin Bell, managing director, and Neil Shupak, senior managing director, have completed two leases for The Center for GI Health (CGI), including a 14,490 s/f lease in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, and a 2,000 s/f lease in Spring House. Bell and Shupak assisted CGI with its site selection analysis, ultimately securing 14,490 s/f at 815 Sumneytown Pike (Brookview I ) in Lansdale. The Brookview I location will be a combination of CGI, The Colonoscopy Center and Bioview Anatomical Pathology Lab. The surgery center will be located on the ground floor, while the administrative/examination offices and pathology lab will be on the second. Until the construction at Brookview I is completed, patients may visit CGI in their temporary office in the adjacent building Brookview II, located at 1240 S. Broad Street. CGI’s Brookview I location is expected to be completed in the fall. n
NGKF’s Bell stated, “Brookview I offered a unique value with raw space on two floors that was ideal to design and build medical and administrative offices, a surgery center and pathology lab. The building lobby, rest rooms, mechanicals, windows and the roof were all recently constructed, and the proximity to Abington Health Lansdale Campus was a factor in selecting this location. Patients will have no problem finding the building which is located at a signalized intersection, with multiple ways in and out of the complex. Everyone will benefit from this new amenity to the region.”
Bell and Shupak also completed a long-term, 2,000 s/f lease at 909 Sumneytown Pike in Spring House. The Spring House location will serve as CGI’s satellite office for patients who live in the eastern parts of Montgomery County that need consultations and examinations. Bell and Shupak leveraged their local market knowledge to negotiate an aggressive lease at the Lansdale location, and, to find move-in ready, medical office space in Spring House.

As the population has aged, we have seen a massive rise in the number of colorectal cancer deaths, which is now the second leading cause of cancer deaths every year. As the population in Montgomery County grew over the last 40 years, we have experienced demand from our patients to open another location that would shorten their commute. We did our homework on current and future demand, mapped our patient residence and commutation patterns and examined the demographic trends in the region. Our research confirmed that the intersection of Sumneytown Pike and Broad Street in Upper Gwynedd Township is an easily accessible, central location that will serve our current and future patient population for years to come,” said Christopher Phifer, executive director of The Colonoscopy Center.
