All of the leases were handled through the Virginia Beach office of Divaris Real Estate. Ross Dress for Less Inc. renewed its lease for 30,187 s/f of retail space in Williamsburg Marketcenter located at 6610 Mooretown Rd. in Williamsburg. Gerald Divaris handled the lease on behalf of the landlord, American General Life Insurance Company. As tenant representatives, Divaris has handled in over eight transactions throughout Virginia on behalf of Ross Stores. Visionworks leased 2,560 s/f of retail space in the Divaris-leased Marketplace at Tech Center located at 12080 Jefferson Ave. in Newport News, VA. DRE’s Erica Rorrer and Mary McGovern represented the landlord, The Marketplace at Tech Center, LLC, in the lease negotiations.
OneMain Financial Group leased 2,400 s/f of retail space in Williamsburg Marketcenter. Missy Martinovich worked on behalf of the landlord, American General Life Insurance Company, in the lease negotiations. bevello leased 1,806 s/f of retail space on the first floor of the Divairs-leased and managed One Columbus Center office building at the corner of Town Center and Main Street in the Town Center of Virginia Beach. bevello is a contemporary and fashion forward company for women’s clothing, shoes, accessories, and gifts with 34 locations across the U.S. The boutique is relocating from The Cosmopolitan Block 10 in The Town Center to across the street from Anthropologie, Destination Maternity and lululemon athletica. Gerald Divaris, Erica Rorrer, and Sezin Cortinas handled the lease on behalf of the landlord, Columbus Tower, LLC.
RICHMOND, VA — Gerald Divaris announced the completion of six leases totaling 18,068 s/f , including five for new and renewed retail space in the Divaris-leased and –managed 360 West Shopping Center located at 7226 Hull Street Rd. in Richmond. Other tenants in the center include: Rite Aid, Dollar General, Auto Zone, Subway, and Boost Mobile. DRE’s Sara Goodall represented the landlord, 360 West Shopping Center, in the lease negotiations. The leases were signed with:• Jerusalem Deli and Market renewed its lease for 5,111 s/f of retail space;
• Taj Mahal Grocery leased 3,375 s/f of retail space;
• Iglesia Camino de Santidad renewed its lease for 2,750 s/f of space;
• The New Deliverance Tabernacle renewed its lease for 2,750 s/f of space;
• Jackson Hewitt renewed its lease for 2,082 s/f of retail space. The Richmond office of Divaris Real Estate also completed the signing of a lease with Michael Cole for a 2,000 s/f barber shop in the Divaris-leased and -managed Village Commons Shopping Center located at 20833 Woodpecker Rd. in South Chesterfield. DRE’s Read Goode and Cheryle Toy represented both the tenant and the landlord, HODA Investments, in the lease negotiations.
