White Plains Healthcare Props. I & EPIC Healthcare select Congress as construction manager/dev.

White Plains , NY — White Plains Healthcare Properties I, LLC and EPIC Healthcare have selected Congress Building Corp. as the construction manager and developer for its 110,000 s/f, 160-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility. The $39 million dollar facility consists of 160 beds of skilled nursing, including 76 specialized rehabilitation beds, 42 Alzheimer’s secure beds, and 42 long-term care beds, each on specially designed nursing units. The project includes structured parking for 52 cars.Both Congress and TAT have strong track records in Rehabilitation, skilled nursing, long-term care, elderly, and health care projects, having previously collaborated successfully on more than twenty such projects. The Operator, EPIC Healthcare, has demonstrated a capacity to provide quality health care in Westchester County and the Hudson Valley region for more than twenty years.

Congress has completed over 8,000 beds and over 4.5 million s/f of Health Care and Long-Term Care construction throughout the eastern United States over the past 45 years. Congress’ recent successfully completed senior living and health care projects include a 74-unit, 86,000 s/f Assisted Living facility in Easton, MA; a 36-bed Assisted Living and Memory Care addition and renovation of an existing Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing facility in Windsor, VT; a 43-bed addition and renovation to an occupied 135-bed Assisted Living facility in Hopkinton, MA; a 180-bed, 105,000 s/f HUD Sub Rehab of an existing Skilled Nursing facility in Milwaukee, WI; a 74-bed, 64,000 s/f Assisted Living and Memory Care facility in Avon, CT; an 80-bed, 68,000 s/f Assisted Living and Memory Care facility in South Windsor, CT; and an 83-bed, 76,000 s/f Assisted Living facility in Ipswich, MA, all for valued repeat clients of Congress.William Nicholson, CEO of Congress, said, “We are excited and proud to have been selected for this one-of-a-kind project.
