York, PA — Locally owned and operated Investment Real Estate Construction, LLC (IREC) has hired Will Lockard as project manager. Lockard joined IREC in February 2016 and is responsible for managing all construction projects for IREC as well as directing all construction and expansion projects for the Moove In Self Storage portfolio. His main duties include capital improvement projects and aesthetics of the Investment Real Estate Management, LLC (IREM) portfolio of properties as well as leading new improvements to the sites, gathering quotes and building relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
Lockard brings more than three years of experience in the self storage industry where he managed a storage facility maintaining high occupancy and completed maintenance tasks such as cleaning units, repairing doors and latches and fixing roof leaks. Will has also studied engineering and business at West Virginia University while maintaining honors status.When asked about his new position with IREC, he said, “After working in the management side of self storage for three years, I am looking forward to helping improve and maintain the current Investment Real Estate properties on a larger scale to ensure our customers have the best experience possible. I am excited to be working directly with members of IRE, many who I have known on a personal basis for years, as well as making new relationships with our managers, vendors and subcontractors to keep IRE properties in top condition.”
