Philadelphia, PA — J2 Design Partnership, a branding, strategy and visual communications firm located in Philadelphia, recently welcomed Cody Lowry as its new director of strategic partnerships. In this role, Cody will champion all aspects of J2’s business efforts with a focus on establishing and fostering client relationships, strategic partners, and other collaborators that enrich and support the firm’s overall mission and objectives. J2, which is known for recent, notable projects such as the branding of Global Philadelphia’s World Heritage City, Mural Arts’ Open Source, Drexel University’s Innovation Neighborhood, and the Fairmount Park Conservancy, is positioned for dramatic growth. Cody will seek to capitalize on this by expanding J2’s portfolio with non-profits, educational and cultural institutions, and real estate development clients, but also by exploring new opportunities and clients that align well with J2’s cultural and organizational values. Previously, Cody worked in a similar role for Urban Engineers, a 450-person, multidisciplinary planning, design, construction, and owner’s representative firm headquartered in Philadelphia. There he oversaw the development of a nationally recognized, award-winning marketing and communications program, as well the development of new clients and alliances for the organization.
