SpringHill Suites by Marriott Mt. Laurel celebrates groundbreaking for 135-suite hotel


Mt. Laurel, NJ — High Hotels Ltd. has broken ground on a SpringHill Suites by Marriott hotel slated to open in the fall of 2016. The new Mt. Laurel SpringHill Suites will introduce the brand’s latest progressive design, which features sleek contemporary décor. The 135 all-suite hotel, for which High Hotels will serve as owner and operator, is the latest addition to the Laurel Corporate Center in Mt. Laurel. The corporate center is home to more than 876,000 s/f of class A office space. Four new restaurants will also share the new hotel site, conveniently accessed by exit 40 of I-295 at NJ State Rte. 38.The general contractor for the project is High Construction Company based in Lancaster, PA, and the architect is Newcomer Associates of Chambersburg, PA. The $17.9 million dollar project will provide approximately 40 full- and part-time jobs in the community.

This project marks High Hotels’ second Marriott brand development in New Jersey.

The company also developed the highly rated SpringHill Suites in Ewing, N.J., in 2009, as well as two award-winning Courtyard by Marriott hotels in Lancaster, Pa., and Middletown, N.Y., and the company plans to announce the development of several new projects in the upcoming year.
