Seoul, South Korea — Scott Savacool, CCIM, SIOR and 2015 president of CORFAC International announced that GLOBAL PMC has joined CORFAC International as its newest international affiliate and will be the commercial real estate network’s resource in South Korea. CORFAC has network firms throughout the Mid-Atlantic including New Jersey, Eastern PA, Delaware, Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC. Yong-Nam Kim, CCIM, CPM (pictured) and president & CEO of GLOBAL PMC/CORFAC International, is the principal point-of-contact to CORFAC International and manages the firm’s brokerage and property management operations.
Kim is the CCIM Korea chapter president-elect and will be CCIM Korea Chapter president in 2016. He was recently honored with the Best Businessman of the Year Award from the Korean Minister of Employment and Labor (May 2015). Kim earned a bachelor’s degree and later a Master’s degree in Real Estate from Konkuk University. He is a real estate columnist for The Korea Economic Daily, the most widely read economic newspaper among office workers and university students in South Korea.
