BEL AIR, MD — Peak Management has announced the initiation of construction for the Avanti Luxury Apartments, a 198-unit community situated along Tollgate Rd. and between Bel Air South Parkway and Plumtree Rd. in the Bel Air section of Harford County. Site work began in July for the apartment community, featuring unit sizes ranging from approximately 1,000 to 1,500 s/f of space, with delivery and resident move-ins expected to begin in summer 2016. The project is contained on the parcel formerly known as Evergreen Woods. To ensure convenient accessibility to the apartment community, and as part of the development agreement reached with Harford County, Peak Management is constructing the stretch of Tollgate Rd. that will ultimately connect Plumtree Rd. to Bel Air South Parkway. Avanti Luxury Apartments will consist of eight separate three-story garden-style apartment buildings, including a 5,500 s/f clubhouse containing a state-of-the-art fitness center, community room, business center and outdoor pool. Features contained within the units include a modern kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, nine-foot ceilings, a full-size washer and dryer, grand bathrooms, private balconies and gas fireplaces. The community is within close proximity to MD Route 24 (Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway) and MD Route 924 (Emmorton Rd.), with direct access to Festival of Bel Air, a major regional shopping center. Harford Glen Park and the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center are also located in the general vicinity to the apartment community. Peak Management is constructing the clubhouse to be outfitted with modern weight training and aerobic fitness equipment; locker rooms; a multi-use community room that can be utilized for exercise sessions, events and meetings; and a business center featuring computer systems. The resort-style outdoor swimming pool will include furniture, sun decks, outdoor furniture and multiple gas grilling stations. “Our team carefully studies the way consumers interact with apartment spaces, and Avanti Luxury Apartments was designed and engineered to address the busy and modern lifestyle of today,” said Teresa Rosier, vice president of Peak Management. “The floor plans and features reflect the maintenance-free and on-the-go style of living that we see emerging in the Harford County marketplace. In addition, the on-site amenities support the health-conscious consumer base that we envision as our target audience.”
