Seattle & New York — Colliers International announced that it has acquired one of the Northeast’s leading project management firms, Strategic Building Solutions (SBS), based in Madison, Connecticut. SBS, which will rebrand to Colliers International immediately, expands Colliers’ project management expertise in the Northeast and provides national best-in-class energy sustainability management, commissioning and retro-commissioning services. SBS currently manages $1 billion worth of projects and 10 million gross s/f of LEED registered space within their commissioning and energy services group.

The integration of SBS builds on the strength of Colliers’ global project management services, adding 70 multi-disciplined professionals with a depth of knowledge and expertise across multiple industry sectors including financial services, industrial and logistics, healthcare, education, hospitality and more. SBS is also a leader in sustainability and has provided commissioning services for three of the nation’s first 10 LEED registered projects. The team joins the 990 project management professionals, 40% of whom are LEED accredited, that Colliers has globally.
